Coach Mark Feith
Football plays an important role in my life that keeps me pointing in a steady direction. It allows me to not only to be a part of something I truly enjoy, but also keeps me connected to members of the community. Although names and faces change from one clinic to the next, there is a commonality that is unmistakable among football coaches, parents and players.
This isn't a game for everyone. It is truly reserved for the ones that can meet the high demands, be it physically, mentally, emotionally, or all of the above.
Inevitably it offers an opportunity for people that have never met, and live very different lives, to find common ground on and off the field. Parents get to share something meaningful and positive with their kids. Social barriers come down and people form relationships that sometimes last a lifetime. Underneath the shoulder pads and the helmets, it doesn't matter where you are from, who who your parents are, or how much money you do or don't have. What matters for a football coach is a player's effort, heart and desire to be great. Those are three things ANYONE can bring with them. It is how life should always be in its' best version. I feel very fortunate to be able to be a part of that experience....It's truly a privilege.
